WHY WE DO IT

Our Mission.

Invertebrates are the unsung heroes of Earth’s ecosystems — essential for pollination, soil health, medicine, and the food web. Yet, they’re disappearing at alarming rates. The Invertebrate Studies Institute (ISI) is committed to reversing this trend through research, education, innovation, and now, youth leadership.
{
75% of flying insects have vanished in 30 years. Without invertebrates, ecosystems collapse. We are fighting to reverse this trend — and we need a global force of young leaders to join us.

– Dr. Aaron T. Dossey
